Ekelund Master Weavers have been purveyors to the royal court of Sweden for over 100 years. A family-owned mill, Ekelund has been in business for over 300 years, and takes pride in ensuring superior quality down to the finest thread. The Ekelund family has for 18 generations offered artisanal textiles in timeless design. Their present day factory is located in Horred on the Swedish west coast 60 km southeast of Gothenburg. The company is grounded in weaving traditions yet holds a vision of becoming an environmentally sustainable production facility There are about 30 employees who together manage the entire chain in the company, from design to finished product.
